摘要: I will discuss some recent developments on the Kuramoto model with small inertia, which is a second-order model. I will begin with a brief review of relevant results for the original first-order model and explain the key differences and challenges that arise in the second-order setting. I will then present recent progress on the emergence of synchronization in the second-order Kuramoto model, covering both the symmetric and non-symmetric cases.
