Primes Meet Randomness

摘要: In this talk, I will survey some classical and modern results in probabilistic number theory. A central goal is to find and prove new patterns in primes, while the probabilistic inputs range from the classical method of moments to the modern theory of Gaussian Multiplicative Chaos. This survey talk does not require particular background in probability theory or number theory.
报告人简介:徐文强现为美国西蒙斯基金会的青年学者，曾先后在伯克利数学科学研究所和柯朗数学研究所工作。他于斯坦福大学获得博士学位，师从 Kannan Soundararajan 和 Jacob Fox。主要研究领域包括解析数论、概率数论、算术组合以及它们的交叉。
